Lower during is a fact of life for many women. But by paying attention to the way your body changes during pregnancy, you can ease some discomfort. Once you know what’s causing the pain and why it happens, it’s easier to manage. And that can help you enjoy your pregnancy more.

Causes

women often suffer from lower back pain because of the hormone Progesterone. This hormone is responsible for the implantation of the embryo and gestation, which softens the ligament and disks of the back. This can lead to a reduced for the upper body, resulting in cramping muscles in the lower back.

Relaxin is a hormone that helps with and delivery by relaxing the pelvis joints to allow the baby to pass through the canal. However, Relaxin may cause other joints in the body to become inflamed and ache, which can interfere with their proper function.

Pregnant women often experience lower back pain due to the extra they are carrying. This is because of the baby, added water and nutrients, and the fact that they have to try and balance themselves. The pressure on the spine causes it to become weak and can lead to a lot of pain.

NOTE: Always remember that you need to seek proper medical to determine the cause of pain and most appropriate treatment methods for you. These methods may vary depending on the severity and location of your pain. However, some at- treatments, such as stretching and strengthening exercises or icing the affected area, may help provide relief.

Standing for long periods of time can be avoided by doing things like finding a box to put your foot on, which will help take some strain off. Another way to help is by practicing proper posture. Additionally, there are certain exercises that are suitable for pregnant women that can be done on a daily basis. One example is pelvic tilt. Walking is also a good activity to do. When sitting, it’s helpful to place a pillow behind your back.
At night, placing a pillow between your legs can help you sleep more comfortably. Your mattress should be firm enough to support your back properly. pillows can help lessen the strain on your back. Only wear flat shoes to avoid losing balance and putting too much pressure on your back. Don’t try to lift heavy objects! This will trigger the spine, which might cause more pain.
If you need to lift anything, always remember to bend your legs, not your back. Applying a warm compress to the areas of your back where you feel pain can help relieve some discomfort. And take it easy! I’m not saying to stop moving altogether, but don’t do anything that may add further strain and stress to the lower back pain you’re already experiencing.

Pregnancy is a special time in a woman’s life when she gets to experience one of the greatest gifts: creating new life. Lower back pain should not stop the many great memories that can be created during pregnancy. Instead, pregnancy should be an enjoyable time filled with beautiful memories.
