Some pregnancy signs are incorrectly associated with additional health problems and ailments. Although there is no comprehensive list of pregnancy indicators, there are some common early pregnancy signs that are bound to happen during pregnancy. Some women are lucky enough to never experience any of these early pregnancy signs. Among pregnant women, however, one indicator or another usually happens.

Common Pregnancy Manifestations:

A lot of things can cause missed periods, like stress, illness, and weight loss. However, in most cases, a missed period is one of the first signs that you are pregnant. If you are having other pregnancy-related symptoms, including a missed period, we recommend that you learn about pregnancy signs and talk to a doctor to confirm your suspicions.  Swelling of the breasts is another common symptom of pregnancy. A few days after fertilization, you may start to experience some early signs of pregnancy – one of which is an increase in size and tenderness of your breasts as your body begins to prepare for breastfeeding. This inflammation of the breasts is usually only temporary and should subside after a few weeks.

Nausea and vomiting are common symptoms of pregnancy, often referred to as morning sickness. They are one of the most frequent complaints among expecting mothers during the 5th or 6th week of their pregnancy. Early morning sickness may occur at any time of day and can be very severe, sometimes resulting in debilitating vomiting and nausea. During pregnancy, you will probably feel tired and exhausted. This is because you need more energy to support the other life system inside you.

Areola darkening is one of the earliest and most noticeable signs of pregnancy. This darkening may continue throughout pregnancy and is often one of the first things that pregnant women notice. Another early symptom of pregnancy is frequent urination, caused by the expanding uterus putting pressure on the bladder. This can be extremely frustrating for pregnant women, who may feel the need to go to the bathroom constantly. Other early symptoms of pregnancy include a strong sense of smell, increased hunger, and constipation. Emotional and mental changes are something that comes hand-in-hand with pregnancy. You’re preparing for motherhood, so it’s only natural to become overprotective and, in some cases, take on the role of motherhood a little too seriously. Mood swings during pregnancy are perfectly normal and those around you should be well-informed not to take anything personally.

There are a few different ways to verify your pregnancy, but the most common (and accurate) method is through a pregnancy blood test. Other methods include home pregnancy tests, workplace urine tests, and so on. Always consult with your doctor to verify the results and to get acquainted with any pregnancy-related health issues.
